About Us

Located within walking distance from Penrith station and Westfield Shopping Center we are extremely accessable to the local community and those looking to come from a little further away.

We teach all levels and all ages from 5-99 years of age whether you have picked up an instrument or not. We are also able to teach you to sight read musical scores (dots and squiggles to most people) or to play by ear, its up to you.

Some things to consider:

  • Operating continually since 1988, First under Guitar Factory then           changing in 1997 to NDMA
  • We are all trained and professional musicians
  • We have students coming from as far as Greystanes
  • All of our tutors are friendly and easy to get along with
  • Lessons are done in 5 week lots or weekly, not terms
  • Make up lessons are given if cancelled no later than 10:30am on your lesson day at the latest by leaving a voice mail on the schools number.
Our philosophy of teaching here is quite simple, do it right and make it as much fun as possible. Back this up with songs and practical application of techniques at home and we are able to produce really solid players.

We also work with students that have physical and mental issues as well, these include and are not limited to: A.D.D, aspergers, autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome and have we have taught a deaf girl. We also find that we are beneficial as a tool to combat physical disabilities such as parkinsons disease and other disorders that use physiotherapy as a means to control physical issues, in short, if we can help we are more than willing to try, we are currently trying to develop a PTSD program to help those in need.

All sessions are held onsite at the school in purpose built rooms, these are equipped with airconditioning to each studio, sound deadening in all walls, and an inspection window in all doors for parents to watch lessons as well if desired. All rooms have the essentials for each instrument as in amps in the guitar studios, keyboards in the piano studio, a state of the art $20,000 Roland kit in the drum studio, and a mic stand and mic in the vocal studio. All studios have computers and speaker systems for the tutors to load tracks provided by the student or to use the net to track down that elusive song.
